Mikhail Yuryevich Lermontov, (October 15 [O.S. October 3] 1814 – July 27 [O.S. July 15] 1841), a Russian Romantic writer, poet and painter, sometimes called “the poet of the Caucasus”, was the most important Russian poet after Alexander Pushkin’s death. Kindle for Android, coming soon! The Kindle application, which will transform your Android device into an e-books reader, has just been announced by Amazon.

This application will provide access to 540,000 books available in the Kindle Store on the Android device and will transform your Android to an ful fledged e-books reader. This application will not only allow users to read, download, but also to buy new books from the android phones.

The synchronization system Whispersync allows you to save and transfer bookmarks between different terminals of reading as a Kindle, Kindle one DX, PC, Mac, or another smartphone.

However, Amazon says that newspapers, magazines and blogs will not be accessible from this application. The Kindle Android application will be downloadable from a dedicated webpage.



OpenBook is created by engineers Will Moffat, Peter Burns and James Home. It is a Facebook status search engine. If you head over to the OpenBook, you will get to search everybody’s status(according to their privacy) with a particular keyword.

The results are displayed with a profile photo, linked to the user facebook profile, the time at which it was updated and the location. OpenBook uses the Facebook Search API to pull/gather public information from all over Facebook.
