Happy New Year – Twenty Ten (2010)

by teamgpt December 9, 2010
written by teamgpt

new year 2010

There will be a full moon out tonight for New Year’s Eve — and it’s blue blue new year. Tonight’s moon is the second full moon of December; the first occurred Dec. 2.

Though the expression “once in a blue moon” is used to describe extremely rare events, blue moons aren’t all that unusual, occurring every 21/2 years or so. But a New Year’s Eve blue moon is somewhat more remarkable — we haven’t had one since 1990.

Blue moons of this sort aren’t actually blue in color, though certain natural occurrences, like volcanic eruptions or wildfires, can cause the moon to appear blue, red or orange. Fortunately for New Year’s Eve revelers, full moons are also known for stirring up emotions and sparking wild revelry. So be sure to look up and raise your glass as you ring in 2010.

Thanks every one for your support :) Have a Blast :)!!

Video Tour of Google Office in Stockholm, Sweden

by teamgpt December 9, 2010
written by teamgpt

While designing the Google office the employees wished to maintain a small-company atmosphere and leave a Swedish fingerprint on the space, all while combining several Swedish offices into a centralized location for engineers and the marketing and sales divisions.

The office is filled with everything we know to be Google, though with a bit less of the very extravagant elements the Zurich space contained. The conference rooms are themed with famous Swedish inventors like Linne, Ericsson, Nobel, and Bohlin. Several of the other rooms have unique themes as well. Google just seems like a fun company to work for, and this office doesn’t change that belief in the slightest. Plenty of places to play on different games, a great looking kitchen area, and of course many places to lounge make this Google office one of the best.

Sit back and enjoy the slideshow of pictures from Google Stockholm, Sweden office :)

written by teamgpt

Thanks to Nessuno, we now have a Farmville bot that helps us play Farmville easily without clicking hundred times to plow, harvest or plant crops in farmville. But sometimes there is this Farmville Screen Of Death (‘Farmville NOT found’) error…

farmville not found

Are you annoyed, a sad panda because of this error and cannot use the famville bot? Don’t worry; this post is here to help you :). If you don’t have the Farmville bot yet, read these posts 1 and  post 2. The latest version of Farmville bot is Version 1.3, It can be downloaded from here.

System requirements needed to run farmville bot:

  1. Microsoft Windows XP/2002/Vista/Seven
  2. Any Internet Browser
  3. Internet Browser and Flash with zoom at 100%
  4. Display color depth at 24 or 32 bit

When you see the ‘Farmville not found’ screen, try the following:

  1. First check the system requirements.
  2. Use another browser. If you are using firefox and hitting the FSOD (Farmville screen of death) try using Internet explorer or Google Chrome.
  3. Delete cookies and cache and try again

Still didn’t work? Post your comments below… let me figure out something special for you :)…

by teamgpt November 9, 2010
written by teamgpt
twitter logo
Twitter has started rolling out the new re-tweet option in August was announced by co-founder Biz Stone. This button lets you easily repeat messages from other Twitter inhabitants. A re-tweet always starts with the letters “RT” followed by @ username behind the original message. Re-tweets have long been used on Twitter alone was still no button. Applications like TweetDeck and CoTweet already have a re-tweet button.

The re-tweet button on Twitter itself is initially available for a small group of users to see how it goes in practice. If all goes well, the button will be progressively rolled out for all twitter users. If you belong to this group you see the following message after logging in, on the homepage of Twitter, :

“New! Re-tweet to share tweets (BETA). Hi there, you’re part of a beta group receiving this feature, which means you may start seeing re-tweets in a new way. People who do not have this yet will see your re-tweets prefaced by “RT”.

On your own Twitter re-tweet this page is provided with an icon for the message below also how many people have repeated the message.

If you don’t want to re-tweet of if you re-tweeted the wrong post, then you can reverse the same through the same button. I’ve also written a Twitter guide (presentation) on how to use twitter, make sure you read it, if you’re new to the twitter world  :) …

New Feedburner Stats In Realtime

by Sharath G October 10, 2010
written by Sharath G

Google finally announced a significant improvement to FeedBurner by introducing the statistics of feeds in realtime. From now on, we will see the subscriber stats in realtime with the number of clicks, views and downloads which means that we will see our web traffic from readers feeds, Twitter and other sources of subscriptions as it occurs.

Try the new experimental interface here – http://feedburner.google.com/gfb/. The best way to see the operation is to publish a new post and switch to “Last two hours” to begin to see realtime updates.
