Google health

Google health results show up prominently on the Google search. For example, when you’re searching for anything related to your health, the Google search results first point to Google health and then to the other sources of information. Google Blogoscoped has some images and more information on this.

Earlier this year, released Google, the fifth version of Google Earth. New features were, for example, Google Ocean, the integration of Mars and older satellite images. Only a little over two months, Google sun has been integrated. Yesterday evening was to release the next version of Google Earth, which brings no new features, but should work much faster.

Google Earth 5.1 will have one by 25% shorter startup time. Improvements under the hood to make better use of storage memories and the images will load faster. The Google Earth browser plugin is also included on Windows now.

Google

With a small change in the address you can get results in real time. To reach this search to be extended, so far not available, the address on “& tbs = QDR: n30”.

The option “n30” shows all the results with your keyword which were found within the last 30min. If you want to know, for instance the last 10 seconds, you write “s10”.

Here is an example of the search for iGoogle Watch blog in the last 30 minutes:

Korean Independence Day (south) is also celebrated on the 15th of August just like the Indian independence. Orkut Doodle: Indian Independence

orkut doodle

India’s Independence Day is celebrated on August 15 to commemorate its independence from British rule and its birth as a sovereign nation on that day in 1947. The day is a national holiday in India. All over the country, flag-hoisting ceremonies are conducted by the local administration in attendance. The main event takes place in New Delhi, where the Prime Minister hoists the National Flag at the Red Fort and delivers a nationally televised speech from its ramparts. In his speech, he highlights the achievements of his government during the past year, raises important issues and gives a call for further development. The Prime Minister also pays his tribute to leaders of the freedom struggle. A colourful pageant showcasing India’s cultural diversity, symbolic depictions of the country’s advances in science and technology, and a joint display of India’s military capabilities by the armed forces are an essential part of the Independence Day celebrations.

Fring Does Not Support Skype Anymore

by teamgpt July 10, 2015
written by teamgpt

Skype calls\texts from within the Fring application is no longer possible. Both VoIP services are now publicly challenging the conflict.

Fring (one of my all time favourite application on the phone), a tool that has different chat services like ICQ, Gtalk, Yahoo Messenger and Skype bundled together. Skype was accused of “fear of open mobile communication” and after this Skype has taken legal action against Fring.

Skype blocks the application since last Friday, Since, Fring upgraded its VoIP application for iPhone 4 for making free Skype Video calls. The reason given was  server problems caused by Fring and hence only supported voice calls.

Avi Shechter, the Co-Founder and CEO of Fring, describes the action of Skype as an “ambush” in a blog post.

Skype responds to the issue via another blog post by saying that Fring abused its software as “growing its brand and its reputation with damaging consumers’ and also, mentioned that it would not support Fring using Skype as one of the add-on in its mobile applications anymore.

I’m a happy Fring user and today I received an official email from Fring about the “Fring VS Skype” issue. Here is a copy:

If you too used to use Skype via Fring, you can probably head over to http://m.skype.com/ on your mobile phone and download a simple independent skype application to text and make calls!
