Twitter has started rolling out the new re-tweet option in August was announced by co-founder Biz Stone. This button lets you easily repeat messages from other Twitter inhabitants. A re-tweet always starts with the letters “RT” followed by @ username behind the original message. Re-tweets have long been used on Twitter alone was still no button. Applications like TweetDeck and CoTweet already have a re-tweet button.

“New! Re-tweet to share tweets (BETA). Hi there, you’re part of a beta group receiving this feature, which means you may start seeing re-tweets in a new way. People who do not have this yet will see your re-tweets prefaced by “RT”.
