You all know those boxes with strange looking letters that are becoming increasingly common on the website registration forms, or on Facebook Pages when you want to post an update?… Oh yeah, they’re called captchas and they’re used primarily to deter spammers and bots.
Google expands its empire by purchasing reCAPTCHA.The reCAPATCHA service protects against spam submission on website forms, A common type of CAPTCHA requires that the user type letters or digits from a distorted image that appears on the screen.. Thus, one can say with great certainty that the contents of the form is not spam.
