To celebrate the tenth anniversary of Blogger several new features were rolled out. The Blogger team has one more new feature now available and that is, the ability insert a “read more” link into a blog post. So when you’re on the homepage of your blog a short intro text places interrupted by a “Read more” link that will refer to the page with the full article. To use the option to read more messages, the “Updated Editor ‘is enabled automatically.
The select and check your settings within Blogger, you need to:
1. Click on the ‘Basic’ button, scroll down to “Message Editor select ‘.
2. If it is not the case just, select “Updated editor” and click on Save Settings.
If you’re a news article making the “Read more” option available in the toolbar above the message. This is the last button and it adds by clicking the Read more link to the message. If you do not want to use the new editor you can also insert the Read button via a detour. This is done by when creating a new message to switch to HTML view by clicking “Edit HTML” and then'<!– more -> “to insert the desired place.
