Google chrome is one if the best and top rated web browsers out there in the market. With still lots of room for improvement.
Google has now announced a newer Chrome Update for Android devices on its chrome release blog.. The Chrome version 85 (84.0.4183.81) is supposedly going to solve lot of issues related to battery consumption, same site cookies which would improve the page loading and provide security improvements.
Initially, Google had provided the developer community time to adjust to the new standard but not every developer was ready to migrate. So Google has now pushed (and updated the same site cookies blog) to reflect the new update.
The newer version also manages background tabs well by removing them from memory for better battery consumption. This definitely helps in optimizing the RAM. This feature however is only available on the Chromebooks and Android devices for now.
